Vice President JD Vance recently appeared on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” hosted by UFC commentator and one of the world’s most popular podcast hosts, Joe Rogan, where he spent significant time breaking down the kind of tactics that Republicans In Name Only (RINOs) are using to stop the SAVE America Act from becoming law.
The SAVE America Act is crucial legislation aimed at preserving election integrity and reducing voter fraud in the United States. It requires documented proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration and mandates a valid photo ID for voting in federal elections.
Despite bipartisan support, the Act faces opposition from both Democrats and certain Republicans, who are using Senate procedural tactics to block its passage. Vance criticized these obstructionist strategies and called for reform to ensure the Act’s success.
He explained the filibuster rule, which sets different voting thresholds for budget and non-budget issues, and urged the Senate to treat voter ID as a 50-vote threshold issue. Some senators, however, are unwilling to budge, jeopardizing voter ID laws in America.
In response, one user called for the removal of Senator John Thune, criticizing his narrow mindset. Others echoed similar sentiments, accusing Thune of being a globalist puppet and highlighting the personal vendettas against Trump that influence some senators’ decisions.
