Many questions surround President Joe Biden and what the future might hold for him. One of Biden’s central questions is his chances of running for reelection in 2024. While the first year of Biden as president has seen its share of mishaps, problems, and blunders, it appears the oldest POUTS in America’s history might not be done. And hoping to get some information on the topic, Vice President Kamala Harris was recently asked about it and admitted, “I’ll be very honest: I don’t think about it, nor have we talked about it.”

It’s no secret that VP Harris has been extremely distant from the White House and the Biden administration in the past few months. There were even rumors that the Biden administration was looking for a change in the Vice President role. But those rumors appeared to lead nowhere as Harris is still within the administration.

Speaking on the matter with the Wall Street Journal, Harris stated, “I’m not going to talk about our conversations, but I will tell you this without any ambiguity: We do not talk about nor have we talked about reelection because we haven’t completed our first year and we’re in the middle of a pandemic.”

Both Biden and Harris have been somewhat of an odd mix throughout their first year in the White House as Harris ran to be President herself. It’s even known that the Vice President still hopes to make a presidential run in the future. But it should be noted that her approval rating is worse than Biden’s.

Still, if President Biden were to run for reelection and supposedly win, again, that would make him 82 years old at the time, and he would be 86 at the end of his second term. And while the White House might be behind Biden running again, New York Times opinion columnist Bret Stephens wrote, “The man who once gave his party hope now weighs on his party’s fortunes like a pair of cement shoes. He should announce, much sooner than later, that he will not run for a second term.”
