While appearing on ABC News’ “This Week,” Dr. Anthony Fauci proclaimed he doesn’t see lockdowns akin to the kinds seen in 2020 happening “in the future” so long as Americans do exactly what he and the current administration tell them to do – while also using the appearance to single out the unjabbed population.

ABC “This Week” co-anchor Jonathan Karl asked whether the country would experience lockdowns again in light of the latest variant looming.

“With what you described as the way to be prudent, the success of vaccines and boosters, we’re not headed towards anything approaching the kind of lockdown we saw last year, are we?”

Fauci responded that he doesn’t expect for there to be lockdowns similar to the scale from last year, but under the contingency that everyone follows the lead of the Biden administration’s agenda regarding COVID.

“I don’t see that in the future if we do the things that we’re talking about. John, the thing that continues to be very troublesome to me and my public health colleagues are the fact we still have about 50 million people in the country who are eligible to be vaccinated, who are not vaccinated.

When you have that degree of vulnerability, and you have a virus-like Omicron that spreads so rapidly, it is quite likely that we’re going to see in some sections of the country a significant stress on the hospital system – as well as on the healthcare workers who are getting exhausted by all of this. So, the stress is going to be there. I don’t foresee the kind of lockdowns that we’ve seen before, but I certainly see the potential for stress on our hospital system.”

Red Voice Media would like to make a point of clarification on why we do not refer to any shot related to COVID-19 as a “vaccine.” According to the CDC, the definition of a vaccine necessitates that said vaccine have a lasting effect of at least one year in preventing the contraction of the virus or disease it’s intended to fight. Because all of the COVID-19 shots thus far available have barely offered six months of protection, and even then not absolute, Red Voice Media has made the decision hereafter to no longer refer to the Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson substances as vaccinations.
