In Chicago, activist Danielle Carter, associated with FlipChicagoRed, an America First group, posted a video alleging she was physically assaulted by 4th Ward Republican Committeeman Paul McKinney during a public meeting in May 2025 regarding a migrant shelter at King Library.
Carter accuses Judge Clarence Burch of bias for allowing political questions in court and mentions “malfunctioning” library cameras. Claims from left-leaning sources suggest Carter initiated the altercation.
A viral post circulating online stated, “🚨BREAKING: Chicago activist Danielle Carter assaulted by RINO committeeman Paul McKinney at a migrant shelter meeting. McKinney was arrested and charged with battery and assault thanks to eyewitnesses.”
The post continued, “RINOs and Democrats are desperate to maintain power and will do anything to oppose the America First agenda in their city.”
However, left-wing activists disputed the narrative, with one local politician asserting, “SHE was the aggressor.” An impassioned conservative defended McKinney, stating, “Real conservatives know when it’s time to fight and time to debate.”
In response, Danielle Carter accused Judge Clarence Burch of allowing McKinney’s actions to go unpunished, highlighting questions about her political affiliations in court. She expressed concern that accountability is being determined by political affiliation rather than truth or justice.
She also claimed that she is not aligned with RINOs or Democrats, emphasizing her commitment to fighting corruption and making real change.
