In yet another awful incident that should have been entirely avoided, two illegal aliens were accused of slaying a 24-year-old mother in March of 2026. This tragedy could have been prevented if the government of America’s sanctuary counties and cities prioritized the safety of American citizens over illegal aliens.
Adding to the horror, the Trump Department of Homeland Security revealed that Santa Clara County had received detainer requests from ICE for the two illegal aliens involved in the killing. Despite this, Franquin Inestroza-Martinez and Gerzon Jose Chirinos-Munguia, both originally from Honduras, were arrested for the murder of Kembery Chirinos-Flores.
Chirinos-Flores, a young mother, was fatally shot by the two men, one of whom had a history of arrests for violent crimes. Shockingly, neither of the accused criminals had been deported or detained despite their criminal records.
DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis condemned the county for releasing these dangerous individuals back into the community without notifying ICE. She emphasized the need to prioritize the safety of American citizens over protecting illegal aliens accused of heinous crimes.
It is unacceptable that sanctuary jurisdictions like Santa Clara County refuse to cooperate with ICE in apprehending violent offenders. The safety of American communities should always come first, and the practice of shielding criminals must end.
It is time for action. We must demand that our government officials prioritize the safety of American citizens and work with law enforcement agencies to ensure that criminals are held accountable for their actions. Together, we can make our communities safer for everyone.
