Senator Proposes Ban on States Offering Tuition Benefits to Illegal Immigrants

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) has taken a bold stand to protect American citizens by introducing two bills to stop illegal aliens from receiving in-state tuition benefits. The “Put American Students First Act” exposes how 22 states and Washington, DC are violating federal law by providing these benefits, costing taxpayers over $1 billion annually. This practice not only incentivizes illegal immigration but also undermines the rule of law.

Additionally, Sen. Cotton’s “Asylum Reform & Loophole Closure Act” aims to prevent asylum seekers from exploiting the system by requiring them to apply for asylum in every country they pass through before reaching the United States. By closing these loopholes, the senator is working to ensure that Arkansas taxpayers are not burdened by the costs of illegal immigration.

It is time to prioritize American citizens and end the unfair advantages given to illegal aliens. Let’s support Sen. Cotton’s efforts to protect our students and enforce stricter standards for asylum seekers. Take action now to stand up for our country and demand accountability from our lawmakers. #PutAmericanStudentsFirst #ProtectOurBorders
